Catch up

Noah and Omi have been relatively illness free (Praise God) for the past couple of weeks. The weather has been gorgeous, so Chad and I took them for a walk yesterday. They have a new stroller I found on Craig's List for $100. It is really nice to be able to take them out and let them look around.

Omi is getting better at her core muscle strength. The Dr. was concerned because she was so weak in her tummy area that she couldn't sit up at 9 months. Now at 10 months, she is pulling up on toys a little. She sits up and scooch crawls on her belly. Part of her PT is tickling her belly daily (just as effective as baby sit-ups, but way more fun):-)

Noah and Omi have their own language when they play together. He is way more mobile than she is. He has been able to pull himself up to a standing position for weeks. I have noticed that he lets go and can stand on his own too. He isn't quite to the walking stage yet. He has been so adventurous. He goes for everything he can - without reservation. Naomi watches him try something first, then she waves her hands until he shares with her.

Ok, gotta go pack as we get ready to leave to visit Chad's family. Please keep his Dad in your prayers. His back has gotten way worse. He is in a lot of pain.

Thanks for taking the time to read how the babies are doing!
Blessings,
Marie
