His indian name is "baby with stinky farts"

Noah and Naomi (and Isaac) OWN their grandparents. I mean it. I took them over to Abilene Thursday-Saturday with Isaac and Corinne, and it was soooo cute. Naomi still loves when Mom speaks Amharic to her. She is eating her hands more and becoming more limber. She has mastered eating her feet as well.

Isaac is 4, and cutely calls Noah "my boy" and loves on him. They are so cute together - the grandparents didn't have a chance. The kids have them both wrapped around their little pinky fingers.

Noah and Naomi continue to explore their voices with squeals, squeaks, and high pitched noises. It is fun to play with them by repeating their sounds back to them. Semira (my oldest niece) was with us at my parents house, and she had a fun time with the kids too.

One of my self-imposed dietary restrictions has been avoiding milk products because Noah doesn't process them very well. I let myself go a little while we were at Mom and Dad's because they had cheesecake. Well, little Noah has been paying me back for about 2 days now. His indian name has changed from "slobber of unusual size" to "baby with stinky farts". And like any self-respecting baby boy - he smiles and coos with each one.

Naomi has been sharing her talents with flatulance as well - but she seems to be working on her burping skills more than her pooting skills.

I am officially one of those parents - that talk about their children's colon activity. sorry.

In Him,
Marie A.
